Dr. Konrád Szallós-Farkas is of Hungarian background, was born in Transylvania, Romania and grew up in the United Kingdom, making English his native language. In the years before his training in the health field, he lived and worked in Japan and Palau as a high-school teacher. His training in the field of health was completed at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Tîrgu-Mureș, Romania. He first did his Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and following that he trained to be a physician at the medical school. He later studied coaching and is now also a licensed coach. He currently works in a combination of the fields he enjoys: health, nutrition, and teaching. Dr. Szallós-Farkas has held dozens of lectures on various nutrition and health-related topics over the past ten years and works to teach people what they can do to have a better quality of life with less disease. He has helped organize and run numerous health clubs, conferences and congresses and currently helps run a coaching project aimed at helping people improve their lifestyle. He himself has been ovo-lacto-vegetarian most of his life and vegan for the last 10 years. Dr. Szallós-Farkas is passionate about cycling, bodybuilding, cooking, and traveling.
