[/accordion][accordion title=”(1) Anticipated Sponsorship Credit“]
We encourage you to contact your local church, Conference or the Union from your area, to ask for their financial support. There are two main reasons why this option can be a mutual blessing. Firstly, they can help you pay a part of your tuition, which represents the Anticipated Sponsorship Credit in our chart above. Secondly, your training can make you efficient in your church community outreach.
If the church commits to helping you through their resources, or if you should find a sponsor to cover part of your tuition, in exchange, you could commit yourself to a year’s active service in your church/Conference outreach. We believe you can make such an agreement with them, and become a great asset after completing your training at Herghelia Mission School.
[/accordion][accordion title=”(2) Anticipated Volunteer Work Credit“]
This applies to Full Training students only: Your tuition, security deposit, room and board make up 4,800€. Part of this expense can be covered by the number of hours making up your work time. These are the dynamics that come into play:
- the number of hours you work
- sick days
- any travel during the school time
- available work positions
In general, the more you work, the lower your tuition fee. The less you work, the more you need to match financially at the end of each month. You will be trained in the first few weeks and, afterwards, selected for available work positions, for the rest of the year. If you can afford to pay more of the total cost, you can be released from a certain amount of the work load. This has to be worked out on an individual bases.
[/accordion][accordion title=”(3) Visa Fees“]
This applies to non EU citizens only.
(a) Full Training
If you apply for the Full Training and your application is approved, you will need to apply for a volunteer visa in your country. This will imply additional expense on your account:
- In your country: Volunteer visa fees
- In Romania: Extension of volunteer visa fees (around 250€) and a Romanian bank account where you will have to deposit a sum equivalent to the the average Romanian monthly gross salary x 12 months.
Due to the fact that this process takes some time, you should make sure to apply to our school early enough, according to the Application Deadlines.
(b) Short-term Courses
If you apply for any of the short-term courses and your application is approved, you will need to apply for a 3-month volunteer visa in your country. This will imply additional expense on your account. Due to the fact that this process takes a certain time, you should make sure to apply to our school early enough, according to the Application Deadlines.
